Bruce has been a consultant and trainer with Experiential Training and Coaching Ltd since 1988.  His expertise is in facilitation, team performance, and process improvement. Bruce is an Authorised Consultant of the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation and is on the evaluation team of the National Business Excellence Awards.

 

Bruce has worked with clients from a wide variety of industries, including banking, food processing, manufacturing, government (national and local), professional firms, health, IT and communications and the energy sector.

 

As well being engaged on specific assignments many clients use Bruce as an 'outsider looking in' and a sounding board for ensuring their individual initiatives are leading the organisation down the path of improved results and sustainable performance.

 

Along the way Bruce has conducted organisational needs analysis, training design and delivery of programmes in Team Development, Leadership, Project Leadership and Continuous Improvement. He has facilitated strategic planning and business planning workshops and customised 360 degree performance management tools.

 

Bruce's clients say he brings an energy and lightness to what can be serious workplace issues and manages to balance the delivery of results with the need to have fun along the way. Building rapport with the client organisation and participants comes easily to Bruce. He is committed to putting in place processes that organisations can ultimately manage and run themselves. Some of the organisations Bruce has worked with recently include Fletcher Construction, Transit New Zealand, Canterbury Meat Packers (ANZCO Group), TVNZ, Palmerston North City Council, Frucor Beverages Ltd and the Idaho Department of Lands (USA). This has had Bruce establishing methodologies, kick-starting projects, reviewing processes, facilitating business plans and developing and supporting managers and teams.
